The University of West Florida is the latest higher education institution to prohibit the social media app TikTok from its networks.

At the Hack the Capitol conference, speakers said filling out the cyber workforce can't wait for everyone to complete an advanced degree.

CyberSuccess' first cohort seeks eight veterans who will receive five months of online cybersecurity training and access to the Florida Cyber Range.

The public university will continue to work with state employees to bolster cybersecurity knowledge through the November midterms.

The CyberHub will include Florida's second cyber range. The other is located on the University of West Florida campus.
